  • About me
Licensed Texas Public Adjuster (License #3036746) and owner of Versa Public Claims Adjusting (versa.claims). I represent homeowners and business owners on property insurance claims. I work for the policyholder, not the insurance company.

Before licensing in 2023, I spent many years in property restoration and remodeling, residential and multifamily, on both retail and insurance-pay work. That background drives how I handle a claim: I scope damage the way a contractor does, build the estimate line by line in Xactimate, and hold the carrier's numbers to what the repair actually costs.

Prior experience also includes commercial tenant representation and recruiting.
  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
Most property claims that come up short aren't short because the policy doesn't cover the damage. They're short because nobody documented all of it. The carrier's adjuster may spend 30 minutes on site, and the homeowner doesn't know what to look for or how a repair gets priced.

A recent example: a large tree fell on a young couple's house. Their insurance company valued the loss at $14,300. With help from their roofer, they got it raised to $16,600. Then they hired me. After I documented and priced the full loss, the claim settled at $83,000, five times the number they had already fought for.

That gap is why I do this. People pay premiums for years expecting their policy to put things back the way they were. I make sure the claim reflects the actual damage, so they can focus on their family or business while I handle the insurance company.
  • Unique Selling Proposition
A contractor’s eye, working on the policyholder’s side of the claim. I spent years in restoration and remodeling before I was licensed, so I scope damage the way a builder does and price it line by line in Xactimate, the same software the insurance companies use. My inspections take hours, not 30 minutes, with moisture meters, thermal imaging, and drone photos, so hidden damage gets found and documented. The first claim review and site visit are free, and there’s no fee unless there’s a recovery.
