I do what I do because I genuinely enjoy helping people. Being even a small part of someone’s journey toward growth and success is what motivates me. It’s not about recognition. It’s about seeing where someone started, watching how far they’ve come, and knowing I was able to support them along the way.
My other “why” is my kids. Even as young adults finding their own paths, having the flexibility to stay present, support them when they need it, and still build something meaningful of my own is what makes this work so fulfilling and worthwhile.
Unique Selling Proposition
My unique selling proposition is that I combine formal education in risk management with real-world insurance experience to provide clear, relationship-driven guidance, not just policies. I don’t believe insurance should be confusing, rushed, or transactional. I take the time to understand each client’s situation, explain their risks in plain language, and structure coverage that actually fits their life or business.
What sets me apart is my focus on education, transparency, and long-term partnership. Clients don’t just get a quote, they get an advisor who is accessible, responsive, and invested in helping them protect what they’ve built as their needs evolve.
About me
I’m a licensed insurance broker and co-owner of JAMCO Insurance, a family-owned agency built on relationships, trust, and doing right by people. I work with both businesses and individuals, helping them protect what they’ve worked hard to build by finding coverage that actually makes sense for their lives and operations. I earned my B.B.A. in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Houston Downtown’s Marilyn Davies College of Business and am licensed in Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health.
I don’t believe insurance should feel confusing or transactional. I take pride in slowing things down, having real conversations, and explaining coverage in a way that’s easy to understand. My goal is to be someone my clients can call with questions, not just when they need a policy. Outside of work, I enjoy connecting with other professionals, exploring Texas, and spending time with my family. At the end of the day, I’m focused on building long-term relationships and being a trusted resource people can rely on as life and business evolve.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring different parts of Texas, and staying connected with my community. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people, building relationships, and supporting other professionals through networking and local events. Whether it’s a road trip, a casual meetup, or simply time with family, I value experiences that keep life balanced and grounded.
