About me
I am originally from upstate NY, but have lived in NC since 1996. I have been happily married to my husband Mark for 31 years, and I am the proud mom of sons who are in their mid-20's and a sweet lab mix named Zoey. -
What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
With over 35 years of experience as a nurse, and most recently 9 years as a geriatric nurse care manager, I have a deep understanding of the challenges caregivers face. Additionally, as the mom of an adult son with autism, I have personal experience with these challenges. I'm very passionate in my belief that when caregivers are healthy and supported, they can provide the best possible care for their loved ones, while also living a happier life with more time and energy for themselves. -
Hobbies and interest
I love music, walking my dog, hiking, traveling, reading, going to Carolina Hurricanes hockey games, and spending time with friends and family.
