Two years ago I met my, now fiance, at a Best Buddies event. He has Autism Spectrum Disorder and struggles with social interaction, maintaining long-term friendships, and finding gainful employment. He has the most genuine heart and the things I've seen him struggle with are things most individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities deal with daily. I joined Best Buddies because of their amazing services for disabled folks in our community.

Best Buddies provides support for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. We have 5 main programs; Friendship, Jobs and Transitions, Leadership, Inclusive Living, and Family Support. We often have opportunities for sponsorships and volunteer opportunities.
About me
Kaylyn is a seasoned nonprofit professional with nearly a decade of experience specializing in fundraising and event management. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and is currently pursuing her Master's in the same field at UCF. Kaylyn is a strong advocate for teamwork, communication, and collaboration, continuously seeking to learn and introduce innovative ideas. Outside of the office, she enjoys immersing herself in horror literature, binge-watching true crime series, and spending quality time with her fiancé and their Pitbull, Bear.
