  • About me
I’m Silas Wellington, owner of a Supporting Strategies practice. My team helps small businesses and nonprofit organizations keep their finances organized, understand their numbers, and make confident decisions.

We provide bookkeeping and accounting support, bill payment and invoicing support, financial reporting, tax planning, and controller and CFO advisory services. Whether an organization is growing, catching up on its books, or deciding whether it can afford its next hire, we help turn financial information into a practical plan.

I enjoy building relationships with business owners and other professionals. I’m looking forward to learning about the members of this group, sharing useful financial guidance, and making thoughtful introductions.
  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
Business owners put so much into building their companies, yet many are left making important decisions without a clear picture of their finances. I do this work to give them clarity and peace of mind.

I want our clients to understand where their money is going, what their business can afford, and what needs their attention—so they can spend more time leading their business and less time worrying about the books.

  • Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
What are your biggest goals for your business right now, and what challenges are keeping you up at night?
Are you or someone on your team spending too much time managing invoices, paying bills, or keeping up with the accounting?
Do you have someone helping you plan cash flow, taxes, and financial decisions—such as hiring, expanding, or making a major purchase? If so, are you getting the financial information and guidance you need to understand how your business is doing?

We connect the day-to-day accounting work with the bigger financial decisions. Our clients get dependable bookkeeping, clear reporting, and practical guidance from one team, with support that can grow from basic accounting and tax planning to controller and CFO services.
