I never wanted to go into finance originally. I got my Associate's Degree at 17 years old with my High School Diploma. I then got by Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Utah State University at 19. I wanted to do Marriage Counseling and Family Therapy but did not make it into the program due to lack of experience. I then worked for Adult Protective Services for close to 2 years as a caseworker. I helped prevent maltreatment of elderly ages 65 and older and those with severe disabilities. I also, help connect them with services they didn't know existed! However, I didn't make much money and was pretty stressed. A friend of mine told me to get into finance with him since I was interested in investing so I got my licenses including my SIE, Series 7, Series 63, Series 66, and Life, Accident, and Health. Now I and building and managing my own financial practice through the platform Equitable Advisors provides me.

Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
What financial planning have you done so far? You have accumulated several assets, what have you done to protect them? When it comes to legacy, what do you want to leave behind?
Unique Selling Proposition
For individuals working with large companies/municipalities like Intermountain Health or Utah Retirement Systems to name a couple, I can help educate and setup a self-directed account that opens up more investment choices for your 401k. If you know someone who may benefit, I can look at a list to confirm if their 401k plan is eligible.
The other thing I can do is run complimentary projections for folks. This involves inputting your income, expenses, life insurance, investment accounts, properties, and whatever else you have and build you a 1-page map of your full financial picture. The projections help say if you are on track to achieving your goals whether that is retirement planning, college, planning, or proper life insurance coverage to name a few.
