Please introduce me as Richard Hillier, owner of Houston Precision Construction, a veteran-owned residential design-build company serving the Greater Houston area. We specialize in outdoor living, renovations, pools, patios, hardscapes, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and other custom residential projects. A brief mention of how you know me or why you think we would be a good connection is always appreciated. -
What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
My why is to build a company that people can trust and feel confident doing business with.
The Marine Corps taught me the importance of discipline, accountability, integrity, and doing what you say you are going to do. I wanted to bring those same values into construction, especially in an industry where a lot of homeowners have had bad experiences or simply do not know who they can trust.
I genuinely enjoy taking someone’s vision and turning it into something real, but just as important to me is making sure the process is organized, communication is clear, and the client feels taken care of from start to finish. I want Houston Precision Construction to be known not just for the quality of our work, but for how we treat people and how we stand behind what we do. -

About me
I’m Richard Hillier, owner of Houston Precision Construction. I’m a Marine Corps veteran and have always believed in discipline, accountability, and doing what you say you are going to do. I started HPC to bring that same mindset into construction and give homeowners a better overall experience.
Outside of work, I’m a father of two daughters and enjoy staying active, spending time with family, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. -
