  • Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
I’d like to introduce you to Alex Ward with Lifetime Financial Growth in Louisville. Alex works with individuals, families, and business owners on income protection and how it all ties together with your long term financial strategies. With a strong emphasis on education and helping people make confident financial decisions, his process is designed to walk with you step-by-step to make sense of your insurance needs.
  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
I do what I do because I have seen firsthand what a good financial plan can mean for a family when life changes without warning. My father passed away within a week after an unexpected stroke, and watching the plans my parents had put in place actually work for our family changed the way I looked at this profession.

Seeing a simple insurance and financial plan give a family options, stability, and one less thing to worry about during an incredibly difficult time is all the reason I need to do this work.
  • Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
Do you know any business owners who could benefit from reviewing how well their family, income, and business would be protected if something unexpected happened to them or a key person in the company?

Do you know any business owners who have employees, partners, or family members depending on the business and may not have a clear plan for what happens if the owner can no longer work?

Do you know anyone who has mentioned concerns about retirement, protecting their income, or making sure their family is financially protected?
  • Unique Selling Proposition
I lead with education, creativity, and attention to detail. My background as a glassblower and designer taught me that the best solutions are built around the person, not pulled off a shelf, and I’m willing to do the granular work necessary to make the plan fit.
  • About me
My professional journey started at Centre College, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Studio Art and Art History and was a starting kicker and punter for four years. Centre was where I developed an early appreciation for relationships, community, discipline, and approaching problems from different perspectives.

My path into insurance was anything but traditional. After college, I spent time traveling through Europe with my girlfriend (now wife) and had the opportunity to live and work in Garmisch, Germany, at a hotel on an American military installation serving U.S. military members and their families. From there, I eventually found my way into professional glassblowing and design, spending five years with Pretentious Glass Co. in Knoxville, Tennessee. I still stay connected to that creative side of my life by teaching evening glassblowing classes at ACME Artworks in Louisville.

That background has shaped the way I approach insurance. Glassblowing requires you to understand your materials, pay attention to the smallest details, adapt when circumstances change, and build around what you are ultimately trying to accomplish. I believe protection planning should work the same way.

Today, I help individuals and families understand how insurance can protect the people, income, and quality of life they have worked hard to build. My approach is education first. I want people to understand what they already have, where potential gaps may exist, and why a particular strategy may or may not make sense before they ever make a decision.

My motivation for doing this work is also deeply personal. I saw firsthand how quickly life can change when my father unexpectedly suffered a stroke and passed away within a week. During an incredibly difficult time, I also saw the value of the planning my parents had already put in place. Their plan could not change what happened, but it worked when our family needed it most.

That experience is a major reason I believe so strongly in protection planning. Insurance is not about expecting the worst. It is about making sure the people you care about still have options when life does not go according to plan.

If I can help someone put a simple protection plan in place that gives their family more stability, flexibility, and confidence when it matters most, that is meaningful work to me.
