I'm Jon, and I run KITSCo Automation here in the Raleigh-Durham area.
My background is a varied but stacked. Mechanical engineering. A handful of businesses I started and ran myself, including a Christmas lighting company I still own. Time spent teaching. For a while I thought that was a liability, three careers that didn't line up.
Turns out it's the whole point.
In every one of those businesses I ended up in the same seat. Not out front selling. In the back, figuring out how the work actually gets done and then building the thing that made it run without me hovering over it. Order intake. Scheduling. Quoting. The parts that quietly eat your week. And building it with a knowledge and speed that's unmatched.
That's what I do for other people now. I look at the work you're already doing by hand, and I build something that does it the same way every time, that you can check, and that you can hand to somebody else without holding your breath.
I'm not interested in selling you AI because it's the word of the year. I'm interested in you getting a Tuesday back.
How I work: Advocate. Integrate. Empower. I learn your business before I touch it, I build inside the tools you already use, and I leave you able to run it without me.
What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
In every business I've run, I built the system instead of going out to sell. That's where I'm truly strong. Systems and process. Small business owners carry too much, and a good portion of it can be automated. I want to show you what I built for myself and get you to a point where you can hand something off and still trust it.
Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
I would like to be introduced as a service provider that can connect to existing software, or provide a build/buy/borrow Analysis to streamline operations. I'd also like to be introduced As a company that aims to help you grow, while maintaining relationships, rather than one time projects.
