I help service-based companies improve cash flow, increase profitability, and make better business decisions through financial planning, forecasting, and ongoing CFO support.
My ideal client is a business owner with $2M-$20M in revenue who has built a successful company but wants a trusted financial advisor to help them navigate growth and achieve their goals. -

I believe every business owner deserves to understand the numbers behind their business and use them to make better decisions.
Too many owners work incredibly hard, generate significant revenue, and still feel stressed about cash flow, profitability, and whether they're making the right choices. I do what I do because I've seen how transformative it can be when an owner finally gains clarity about their financials and starts making decisions based on facts instead of guesswork.
My passion is helping business owners understand where they are today, define where they want to go, and build a financial roadmap to get there. When business owners have confidence in their numbers, they can focus on growing their business, creating opportunities for their employees, and building the life they envisioned when they started their company.

I'm Dan Dollevoet, founder of Dan the CFO.
For more than 25 years, I've helped businesses understand their financials, improve cash flow, and make better decisions. Throughout my career, I've worked with companies ranging from small businesses to organizations with hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, but my passion is helping growing business owners gain clarity and confidence around their numbers.
As a Fractional CFO, I partner with business owners to create financial plans, forecast cash flow, measure performance, and develop strategies that support sustainable growth. My goal is to help owners move beyond gut feelings and make data-driven decisions that help them achieve both their business and personal goals.
I'm also the author of Play Your Best Game: A Poker Player's Perspective on Winning in Business, where I share how the same decision-making principles that lead to success at the poker table can help business owners make smarter decisions and build stronger companies.
