Chris Wehe is a seasoned commercial insurance consultant and community leader based in The Woodlands, Texas. With over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, Chris specializes in risk management and tailored coverage solutions for small to medium-sized businesses and commercial property owners. He currently serves as a Commercial Lines Consultant at Ellard Insurance, where he is known for his client-first approach, deep industry expertise, and commitment to transparency.
Chris’s professional journey includes previous roles at Koch Insurance Group, Mutual of Omaha, Gillman Automotive Group and Bank of America where he honed his skills in consultative sales, client relationship management, and business development. His work is characterized by a strong focus on aligning insurance strategies with clients’ operational goals, budgets, and risk tolerance.
A graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Finance, Chris also holds multiple certifications, including a General Lines Agent license for Life, Accident, Health, and HMO from the Texas Department of Insurance. He has completed emergency medical training and served as an EMT with Cypress Creek EMS for over 7 years, reflecting his dedication to service and preparedness.
Beyond his professional achievements, Chris is deeply engaged in community and economic development. He served on the Board of Directors and a current member of the Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership and currently on the Board of Directors for the Commercial Real Estate Association of Montgomery County. He is on the board of directors and team leader for the Business Advocacy Council for the Woodlands Chamber of Commerce.
