I do this work because the world needs it. I've seen what happens when people stay stuck — the slow hollowing out behind a functioning exterior — and I've lived a version of it myself. My job is simply to walk alongside people who are ready to move toward the life they're actually built for.
Unique Selling Proposition
Most coaches help you set better goals. I help you figure out why you keep getting in your own way first. I work specifically with veterans and those closest to them, and I pull from faith, brain science, and psychology to get underneath the surface. Because until you know who you are, no amount of strategy is going to stick. The goal isn't better performance. It's a life that actually reflects who you're built to be.
About me
I'm Chris, a Navy veteran and the founder of The Bearded Coach LLC. I work with people, a lot of them veterans, but not exclusively, who are doing okay by most measures but privately feel stuck, disconnected, or like they've lost their sense of purpose somewhere along the way.
I've been that person. Chasing the next achievement, being the go-to guy, and wondering why it never felt like enough. It wasn't until I had my son that I realized the work I actually needed to do wasn't on my career, it was on myself.
What I do now is help people close that gap. I draw from brain science, psychology, mindfulness, and faith to get underneath the surface, because until you know who you are, no amount of strategy or goal-setting is going to stick. This isn't therapy, and it's not a hype-up session. It's real, honest work with people who are ready for it.
If you know someone capable of more than their life currently reflects, I'd love to be introduced.
