I do what I do because most business owners don’t realize how much control they actually have over their energy costs. Power contracts are confusing, time-sensitive, and often renewed without a second look. I enjoy bringing clarity to something that feels complicated and helping businesses make smarter financial decisions. -

About me
I didn’t set out to work in energy — I grew into it.
My career started in accounting with a retail electric provider, where I learned firsthand how electricity contracts are structured and priced. From there, I helped launch Energy Ogre, giving me experience on the consumer side of the deregulated market. Over time, I transitioned into commercial energy brokerage so I could work directly with businesses and advocate on their behalf.
That background matters.
I’ve seen how contracts are built, how pricing moves with the market, and how easily businesses can renew without fully understanding their options.
Electricity and natural gas are necessary expenses — and often significant ones. But they’re also time-consuming and easy to overlook until renewal deadlines create pressure. I believe business owners shouldn’t have to monitor energy markets or decipher complex contract language just to avoid overpaying.
My role is to bring clarity, strategy, and proactive management to the process. I monitor contract timelines, gather competitive supplier bids, explain risk versus fixed-rate options, and help my clients make informed decisions before deadlines become urgent.
More than anything, I value relationships and time. If I can protect a client’s margins and give them back hours they would have spent navigating energy contracts, I’ve done my job well.
I’m proud to be a trusted resource for something that may be a “necessary evil” — but doesn’t have to be a guessing game. -

Outside of energy markets, I’m usually learning or creating something. I’m earning my bachelor’s degree in graphic design, started violin lessons at 45, and play D&D with my family. Lifelong learning and meaningful relationships matter to me.
