    Construction has been my life’s work. I’m drawn to building, repairing, and solving tough issues. I focus on waterproofing and foundations because they’re complex—and our customers deserve clear answers and repairs that last.

    What’s the issue you’re noticing—and when does it show up?

    Residential prompts: water after rain, damp/musty basement or crawlspace, wall/floor cracks, doors out of square, bouncy/sagging floors, sticking windows, slab settling

    Commercial prompts: roof leaks/ponding, parking deck coating wear or balcony coating wear, expansion joints failed or leaking, joint/caulk failures, water intrusion at walls or penetrations.

    How long has this been happening, and what (if anything) has been tried so far?

    Look for: recurring vs. new problem, seasonal patterns, prior fixes (patches, coatings, French drain, crack injection, jack posts, past caulking/roof work), and whether those helped.

    I’m Eric Morris. I’ve worked in construction since my teens—starting as a laborer and eventually serving as a senior field engineer for large commercial contractors on many high-rise builds and other challenging projects. I founded The Waterproof Group to build something meaningful I can one day pass to my two sons. I’ve been married to my wife, Crystal, for 29 years, and we’re proud Atlanta natives. I love seeing the Atlanta skyline and knowing I played a small part in it. Today, through our waterproofing and foundation repair work, I’ve found what matters most to me: helping people, solving tough problems, and doing the job the right way. That’s what keeps me going every day.
