Maury is the Owner of Freedom Home Services, a company specializing in hoarding remediation as well as roofing and remodeling. In this episode they discuss hording as a disorder as well as hording that has resulted as a matter of situations not attributing to mental disorder.
Maury shares his experience growing his business, finding his niche and discovering the importance of his service. He describes his process approaching liberating a home for a hoarder and he shares some stories about his professional encounters. His also offers advice for the family members of people living in a hoarded home.
