About me
Houston Shutter Center was founded by Tyler Spaulding, whose experience in the window treatment industry spans over a decade. His journey began in sales with a national e-commerce company, where he helped customers across the country find the perfect custom window coverings.
A proud Houstonian, Tyler loves his hometown and its rich cultural diversity. He serves as a board member of the Interior Design Society – Houston Chapter, keeping him closely connected to local designers and the latest trends.
At HSC, we pride ourselves on delivering a truly customized experience—from plantation shutters to shades and exterior patio screens. We’re a tight-knit team committed to making your project seamless, personal, and stress-free. Tyler, his wife, and their two dogs—Pebbles the frenchie and Lucy the westie—are at the heart of it all, reminding us that home is where comfort and character meet. -
