I started Amick IT Services as a way to get more involved in the IT community doing more of what I wanted to do and using the money I made to take care of my mom. Later on, I found that not only I could use it to help my mom but I could use it to help others in need. Which is how the giving initiative part of the company got its start. All in all my why is to use my knowledge in technology to help those around me and make a lasting impact on the community I want to serve.
About me
My name is James Amick. Founder and CEO of Amick IT Services. I have over a decade of experience in the field of technology. %90 of what I know is self-taught with the other %10 being what I learned from tech school. I travel all around the state for my business and have been to every city, town, and county twice. I enjoy hanging out with close friends and family, learning new things, and helping people. My other jobs include volunteering for non-profits and teaching people, and I also work as a paranormal investigator for the South Carolina Paranormal Society.
