What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
Serving others in a profound way has always been my passion. There's a whole world of business owners who need trusted advisors in their corner. Many times, they don't know who or where they can turn to for guidance and relief when it comes to Human Capital Management, which is often the backbone of their organization. Helping business owners focus on what they do best while I ensure they hire and retain the best talent, implement best practices, avoid potential areas of exposure, liability, and lawsuits, and championing benefits and culture is what I do best. Human Resources is a complicated and complex giant, and every business owner should have a partner they can count on to navigate the often murky waters of all HR-related matters. I aim to be that trusted advisor and partner, through the smooth times and rough storms. If I have helped someone else succeed, it's the greatest gratification I can wish for for myself. -

About me
Since childhood, my parents instilled in me qualities and values of always putting others first. They taught me the principles of hard work, helping others, and doing it with a cheerful heart. After deciding to obtain a B.S. in Psychology and graduating in 2011, I knew my career would take me down a path of having opportunities to help people become and be their best, and I wanted to be apart of that. I began working in corporate America right after graduating, and the next several years led me to opportunities to grow in my HR knowledge and experience. In June 2022, I officially started my own Human Resources consulting firm, Herculean HR, to reflect my entrepreneurial spirit. Although I had started consulting in 2016 with clients outside of my corporate roles, I thought about what I could do to reach more people and provide service to people just like my dad showed me. Taking the step of company ownership was exciting and daunting all at once, but after being in business for over 18 months now, I am grateful each day for opportunities to help businesses thrive, grow, and succeed in different areas. -

Even though it's boring to most people, I actually really love reading about new laws and writing articles for HR-related topics, which surprises people based on my bubbly personality. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and four-legged children, Frankie and Zoey, and serving in my church. 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles, singing, playing the piano and organ, and reading self-help books are my main hobbies and interests. I also enjoy continuing my education and expanding my knowledge when it comes to life and my profession. -
