My team and I enjoy helping others, even if it isn't insurance related; in addition, we are able to give back to our community in many ways through our agency. -
About me
Sally is a native Houstonian, but was born in Pasadena, Texas. She moved to Pearland in 2005 when she got engaged to her husband, whom she met on eHarmony. They have been married 12 years and have two boys. She attended Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State), graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with Spanish & Business minors and selected as the LBJ Outstanding Senior.
Sally’s professional background began in the oil & gas industry and morphed into event planning, activating sponsorships, and volunteerism through her charity work. One year after she married, she started as a CSR/producer for her father-in-law in order to learn the insurance business; the plan was to operate the agency once he retired, which he did in November 2010. Sally has her property & casualty license, life & health license and Series 6 & 63 licenses.
Her agency is a one-stop shop for all your insurance needs. She offers home/renters, seasonal, landlord, windstorm, flood, auto, umbrella, RV/ATV/boat/jet ski/golf cart, motorcycle, life and small business/commercial insurance. Collectible car, various bonds and builder’s risk insurance is also available, among others. Sally offers notary services to her clients free of charge. In 2013, she created the annual Jim Mercer Scholarship in honor of her father-in-law & as a thank you to her clients. 2023 marks her agency’s 45th Anniversary serving Pearland and surrounding areas and occurs in conjunction with Farmers Insurance’s 95th Anniversary.
Her hobbies include spending quality time with family, Visions book club, Bible study with friends, watching movies and volunteering. She served as the committee chair for her son’s cub scout pack, was the 2016 President of Women In Leadership Society (WLS) and Treasurer for 2022 & 2023, is President of Professional Women’s Business Club (PWBC) for 2022 & 2023, a Forgotten Angels volunteer, a 12-year member of Keep Pearland Beautiful and a Development Committee Member, President-Elect for American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), and Adopted-A-Spot back in 2013 on behalf of her insurance agency. She is the 2022 Woman of Excellence for the Federation of Houston Professional Women, the 2023 Woman of the Year for ABWA, and a Five Star Professional Legend for Insurance (11 years in a row). -
