What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
I love finding ways to take advantage of cracks I find in complex systems. The United States tax code is the most complex system I know, and finding ways to "beat" the IRS using its own rules fills me with Joy. Using insurance industry products is a key way to accomplish this goal.
I'm also a "glass half empty" kind of guy. I find most people don't do a good job evaluating large long tail risks, and I can add value to people's lives by helping them mitigate those risks. -
