About me
40+ years in residential mortgage lending. Worked as a loan officer for the first 7 years of my career, then started Houston Capital Mortgage in 1989. After 25 successful years, I sold Houston Capital in 2014. I'm currently a producing Area Manager for Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation originating both traditional mortgage loans as well as reverse-retirement mortgages.
I'm a native Houstonian. Married my high school sweetheart, Catherine, in 1981. That same year, Catherine and I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. I received a BBA in finance and Catherine received her BS in Interior Design. We have two married sons and two busy grandsons. Spending time with our family and close friends is our highest priority.
