    I enjoy helping clients protect and growth their wealth, plan for activities during their lifetime, and create strategies to transfer wealth in the most tax efficient way. Retirement, education, and estate planning are all important areas to consider as part of a wealth management plan.

    As a registered investment advisor since 1982, Fred has worked with many high-level executives of publicly traded companies. This has given him an understanding of the unique financial challenges facing these individuals and the expertise to serve their special investment needs.

    Fred believes that communication and trust are integral in building a successful partnership with his clients.

    Fred was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Montgomery Bell Academy in 1976, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of the South in 1980.

    Fred is an active member of the community, serving as a member of the board and former trustee for Goodwill Industries of Middle TN and as a former president and advisory board member of the Second Harvest Food Bank. He is also the former treasurer of a local wildlife rehabilitation center, Walden’s Puddle. Fred and his wife, Laura, have two children: Ryan Elizabeth and Anderson.
