I received my undergraduate degree in English Literature (cum laude, 1979) from Indiana University. I graduated in the top third of my class from the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, in 1982. In the same year I became licensed to practice in Arizona, where I worked in Flagstaff for a small firm. I later left the firm to work in the State District Attorney's office. I was the Deputy Prosecutor in the Maricopa County Attorney's office in Phoenix. In 1988, I became licensed to practice in California, where I worked for a series of law firms. In 1995, I leaned on my experience as a business lawyer to start my law own firm, Patrick D. Zimski, Attorney at Law. Today, I offer practical cost-effective services to clients from all over the state, including Oakland, Berkeley, Walnut Creek and the entire East Bay, San Francisco, San Jose, and the South Bay. I specialize in business law, which an emphasis on real estate law.
I also am licensed in federal courts in Arizona and California. I have been happily married for almost 30 years. My wife and I have raised two beautiful daughters, ages 25 and 20 and we are now empty nesters.
