Kim Kasse On Entrepreneurial Vision, Leadership...
Today, Moose Rosenfeld takes the helm to interview Kim Kaase. Kim is a Transformative Business Coach with LEAP Business Coaching. In this discussion, we lear...
Earlier in my career, I was a senior leader navigating a very complex leadership situation in my company. I had a coach, but what I often needed most was someone who could help me step back and read what was really happening in the room — the dynamics, the pressures, and the bigger picture around the decision.
That experience shaped the work I do today. I now advise founders and senior leaders when they’re facing complex decisions or transitions and want a thoughtful outside perspective before moving forward.
Unique Selling Proposition
I work with founders and senior leaders when they are navigating transitions, complexity, or high-stakes decisions. My role is to provide a thoughtful outside perspective that helps them slow down, see the situation clearly, and move forward with confidence.
About me
My career began inside several global organizations, including Enron and Gensler, as well as smaller entrepreneurial companies. Over time I moved into senior leadership roles and eventually served as VP of Sales, helping guide a business from $14 million to $40 million in revenue.
Those experiences gave me a close view of how organizations operate under both growth and pressure, and taught me the importance of remaining calm and clear when situations become complex.
Many of the most consequential decisions leaders face cannot be solved with frameworks, formulas, or outside prescriptions. They require thoughtful reflection, perspective, and clear thinking.
For more than a decade, founders and senior leaders have sought me out for this type of conversation.
My role is simple: to help leaders slow down long enough to see clearly, trust their judgment, and move forward with confidence.
Kim Kaase is an advisor to founders, CEOs, and senior leaders navigating complex decisions and transitions in their businesses and leadership roles.
Earlier in her career, Kim served as a Vice President of Sales and helped grow a company from $14M to $40M in revenue. During that time, she experienced firsthand the complexity that can accompany leadership decisions, especially when organizational dynamics, strategy, and people development intersect.
After leaving that role, leaders began seeking Kim out for her ability to help them think clearly about difficult situations. They recognized her unique ability to develop leaders, guide strategic thinking, and help organizations grow while navigating the human side of leadership.
For more than fourteen years, Kim has worked with founders and senior leaders who are facing consequential decisions, leadership challenges, or important transitions. Her advisory style combines deep listening, thoughtful inquiry, and intuitive pattern recognition to help leaders see what is really happening beneath the surface of a situation.
Often, the insight a leader needs is already present but hasn’t yet been fully articulated or trusted. By creating space for careful reflection and honest conversation, Kim helps leaders integrate intellect, experience, and intuition so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.
Kim works primarily with founders and leaders of privately held companies, often in the $5M–$50M range. Many of the organizations she advises operate in professional services and B2B industries such as architecture, engineering, design, commercial real estate, construction, accounting, dentistry, and other high-value specialized services.
Her work is intentionally private, as many leaders seek her perspective when navigating sensitive internal dynamics or high-stakes decisions.
Kim is based in Houston, Texas, and works with leaders globally.
I am offering a complimentary session to each person in NIA. If there's something you are navigating that you'd like a confidential outside perspective on, please reach out.
