Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
Martha is a residential interior designer specializing in custom remodels and new-builds all over the Seattle Metro area.
What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
My "why" is always my family. I grew up in a happy home and I am creating a happy home for my own family - my husband, our two teenagers and our dog. It's our oasis, our safe space, and our happy place. I do what I do because I want to help people create their own happy homes and safe spaces.
Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
1. Are you remodeling in the next year?
2. Are you building in the next year or two?
3. Does your kitchen or bathroom need to be fixed or updated?
Unique Selling Proposition
I don't have a huge team - it's basically me and my drafter. So when you hire me, it's all me and I'm there every step of the way.
About me
I love creating custom interior spaces that feel personal and elevated while remaining functional and comfortable. Inspired by art, travel, architecture, and the lives of my clients, I design homes with warmth, character, and lasting beauty.
I have a bit of a restless streak at all times, and it’s because I find the most inspiration when I’m on the move. I’ve lived in Europe and Asia and in many places across the US, and I feel so energized when I see how other people and other cultures live.
When you work with me, it's just me. No team, no handoffs — I'm with you from our first conversation to the final styling appointment, and I actually listen. My goal is to create a distinctly personal home that reflects how you and your family actually live.
When I’m not designing homes, I love reading, cooking, baking, eating in, eating out, and spending time indoors (so much TV!) and outdoors (PNW beauty!) with my family and friends.
Reading (I'm in two book clubs!), walking our little cavapoo dog, Cleo, hiking, camping, traveling, Mariners, cooking, baking, eating in, eating out, spending time and laughing as much as possible with family and friends.
