Shasha Steel is a proudly Zimbabwean, women-led enterprise providing innovative and cost-effective agricultural machinery for smallholder farmers, commercial producers and agro-processing businesses.
Shasha Steel designs and fabricates practical solutions including its game-changing Multicrop Thresher, manual hay baler, maize dehauller and grinding mill, feed mixer, and versatile nut butter machine. Their equipment is designed to improve productivity, reduce post-harvest losses and labour costs, and make agricultural mechanisation more accessible, particularly to rural and smallholder farmers.

What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
Our why is empowerment through accessible agricultural mechanisation.
We believe that farmers, particularly smallholder and rural farmers, should have access to practical, durable and affordable machinery that helps them produce more, reduce losses, lower labour costs and create sustainable livelihoods.
As a women-led enterprise, we are also passionate about demonstrating what is possible for women in engineering, manufacturing and agriculture, while encouraging more women to participate confidently in sectors traditionally dominated by men.
Ultimately, we do what we do because when farmers have the right tools, they can move beyond subsistence, increase their income and create opportunities for their families and communities. -
