Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
If there is any insight into formality of discussion that is always helpful! I am great with all types of people across all industries and happy to meet in a feed lot, construction site, across a kitchen table, or comfortable in the board room. Any direction is helpful - I want to honor YOUR referral and make sure I show up well for YOU!
What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
Having lived the entrepreneurial journey for many years, I understand the realities business owners face every day- the responsibility of meeting payroll, managing growth, navigating uncertainty, and building something meaningful from the ground up. I know that small and mid-sized businesses are the backbone of the American economy and the foundation of strong communities. That perspective fuels my passion for helping entrepreneurs grow their companies and successfully transition the businesses they have worked so hard to build.
Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
Are you thinking of selling your business or do you have an idea of when you may want to sell? Do you have a confident glidepath, trusted advisor, and strong team around you during the sales process? Do you have a realistic valuation of your company and eyes on the current market for your specific industry?
Unique Selling Proposition
I specifically chose a brokerage that was not a corporate "have to". I've previously gone through a listing process as a seller with a big broker and it exposed our business in ways that about broke us. We ultimately didn't sell, and I never want a client to feel the same feelings of "have to" or "this is the way it's done" when your gut is telling you otherwise. I'm your advisor, on your team, and will fiercely remove obstacles and clear new paths, but you are in the driver's seat and calling the shots. That's the difference. No hoops. No "have to's". No one behind the curtain pulling the strings or benefiting from additional overhead.
About me
I bring more than 25 years of experience working alongside entrepreneurs, business leaders, and community institutions to help organizations grow, adapt, and succeed. My career spans corporate financial services, startup technology, small business ownership, and public service – giving me a uniquely well-rounded understanding of the opportunities and challenges business owners face throughout the life cycle of a business.
I began her career in the corporate financial services industry, serving as Vice President of Government and Community Relations for a five-state region. In that role I worked closely with executives, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to build strategic partnerships, support economic development, grow workforce, invest in communities, and navigate complex regulatory and policy environments.
Entrepreneurship has always been central to my life. I come from a family of business owners, have owned multiple types of businesses, and today my husband and I operate a locally founded and owned HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal fabrication company. I have also experienced the startup journey firsthand as the co-founder of a technology company focused on advancing U.S. manufacturing through an AI-driven assessment and analytics platform.
Additionally, I have served on numerous nonprofit boards, chaired community efforts, and served in publicly elected offices.
When not working with clients or engaged in community initiatives, I enjoy traveling with family, spending time outdoors on our hobby farm with horses, goats, chickens, and dogs, exploring Idaho’s four seasons by boat, two wheels, snowmobile, or side-by-side. I'm especially happy when found with a fishing pole and/or glass of wine in hand!
