Gary Whitsett is the founder of Bees Computing, a Colorado Springs-based cybersecurity and AI consultancy. He helps small business owners cut through the noise around AI and automation, figuring out what's actually relevant to their business before spending time or money on the wrong things.

I spent years training enterprise security and AI teams — the people that large organizations rely on to understand their data, manage risk, and make smart technology decisions. Small businesses don't have those teams. Most don't even know what they're missing. That gap has real consequences — wasted money, avoidable breaches, missed opportunities. I started Bees Computing because every business deserves that same clarity, regardless of size. -

About me
Gary Whitsett is a Navy veteran with over 35 years in IT and cybersecurity. He's trained corporate security teams and built curriculum for cybersecurity bootcamps, work that put him inside some of the largest organizations in the country.
Like a lot of small business owners, his path wasn't perfectly planned. A layoff became the push he needed to stop building other people's programs and start building his own. He founded Bees Computing to bring the expertise he spent decades developing in enterprise environments directly to small business owners who need it most but rarely have access to it. -
