  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
    With more than 18 years in the financial industry and hands on experience owning multiple businesses in both the service and food sectors, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming bookkeeping can become for small business owners. I’ve watched talented contractors and service pros lose valuable time, and sometimes even face IRS audits, simply because they didn’t have clear, accurate, dependable financial systems in place.

    I founded Digital Stage Bookkeeping to change that.

    Home‑service businesses and contractors are some of the hardest‑working owners in the market, yet they’re often underserved by traditional bookkeeping and accounting firms. Their business models don’t fit neatly into generic templates.     Hello! I'm Daniel, owner of Digital Stage Bookkeeping. I’ve spent nearly two decades in the financial industry, and I’ve owned businesses myself; in both the service world and the food industry. I know what it feels like to juggle customers, schedules, employees, and operations while trying to keep the books from falling behind. I’ve also seen the consequences when they do: stress, confusion, and in some cases, IRS audits that take owners away from the work they love.
    That’s why I created Digital Stage Bookkeeping.
    Service pros and contractors deserve a bookkeeper who understands their business model, their market, and the unique challenges they face. My goal is to give them clean, accurate books, predictable pricing, and a partner who communicates clearly and consistently.
    When I’m not working with clients, I’m spending time with my wife, our two daughters, and our three golden retrievers — hiking Colorado’s trails in the summer or watching nostalgic movies together in the winter. This community is home, and supporting the businesses that keep it running is something I’m proud to do.
