Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
“Do you feel like your technology setup is helping your business grow — or is it kind of holding you back?”
“If you had someone helping you steer your IT the way a CFO handles finances, do you think things would run smoother?”
“Are you at that point where you know you need better systems or tech leadership, but you're unsure where to start?”

About me
I’m Stephen Nolan, Founder and Managing Partner of ITXMEN — a New Hampshire–based consulting firm providing fractional CIO leadership and strategic IT guidance for SMBs. With over two decades of experience aligning technology with business objectives, I help growing companies modernize systems, fortify cybersecurity, and leverage IT as a strategic driver for scale and clarity.
Known for a hands-on leadership style and a talent for translating complex technology decisions into clear, actionable strategies, I work closely with business owners and executives to turn tech from a reactive cost center into a catalyst for growth. I’m actively engaged in the New Hampshire and New England business ecosystem, building partnerships with complementary fractional leaders in finance, HR, and sales to deliver holistic impact for clients.
Driven by the belief that every SMB deserves enterprise-level IT leadership, I work with companies ready to evolve beyond tactical support and toward strategic transformation. I’m also a passionate connector, a frequent presence at regional business and industry events, and a strong advocate for collaborative entrepreneurship.
Outside of work, I’m a committed father, supporter of youth athletics, and enjoy spending time locally with family, loved ones, and my partner, Ellyn.
