What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
I do what I do because I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, stressed, and stretched thin — and I know the power of walking into a home that feels peaceful.
For years, as a single mom, I cleaned my own home on weekends and nights because I couldn’t afford help. I remember wishing someone would just take one thing off my plate so I could breathe. Now, I get to be that person for others.
Clean & Cozy isn’t simply about cleaning — it’s about restoring time, dignity, calm, and confidence to people’s lives. It’s about giving a busy parent the freedom to sit on the couch and read to their kids without staring at a sink full of dishes. It’s about helping someone going through a hard season simply wake up to a fresh start.
We use eco-friendly products because I believe that a clean home shouldn’t come at the expense of someone’s health. We are licensed and insured and do background checks on all employees, because professionalism and trust matter when we’re being invited into someone’s personal space.
This isn’t a job to me — it’s a calling.
I get to make people’s lives lighter.

About me
I’m Gay Lynn, the owner of Clean & Cozy LLC. I’m a former single mom of four boys, and after working almost ten years at my previous job, I took the leap to build a business that gives families something I always wished I had—more time and less overwhelm.
I live in Chaska, and when I’m not running the business, you’ll usually find me with my family, planning our next trip, catching a Vikings Game, HH with friends, or organizing something (I genuinely love systems and checklists).
I’m passionate about running a company with heart—using eco-friendly products, treating employees well, and giving back to DAP - Domestic Abuse Project - because of my own past experiences.
Clean & Cozy isn’t just a business for me. It’s a mission to bring peace into people’s homes and lives. -
