I do this work because I see too many leaders sell themselves short. They advocate fiercely for everyone else, yet hesitate to fully show how smart and valuable they are. About me
Before launching my coaching practice in 2007, I spent 15 years in corporate leadership with Capital One, Verizon, and PODS, experiences that gave me firsthand insight into how talented leaders often sell themselves short.
Today, I help corporate executives and business owners gain the confidence, credibility, and influence to step into bigger opportunities, blending strategic coaching with powerful personal branding. Alongside my one-on-one and group programs, I’ve had the honor of speaking to audiences in over 40 countries. I co-authored the bestselling book Suck It Up, Buttercup, and my next book, Permission to Dominate Your Success, will be released in early 2026.
I live in Illinois, about 80 minutes SW of Chicago in a beautiful, quaint small town with my wife, two dogs, and two cats. I've been an avid networker since 2009, and love connecting with fellow business owners. -

I love a lot of things in life. I love to read. I am heavily into fantasy and science fiction. However, I am also part of a book club that reads New York Times bestsellers. I love being outside in cool weather hiking, and I LOVE Fall. The colors, the cool weather, the campfires - so energizing. I also love Halloween and cute, spooky decor. And rocks! I collect rocks and semi-precious gems.
