  • Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
    Hi [Contact Name],

I’d like to introduce you to Enid Jones, who does incredible work with Central Texas Table of Grace, a nonprofit emergency shelter and supervised independent living program serving children and youth in foster care.

Enid is always looking to connect with caring community leaders and businesses who want to make a difference locally. Table of Grace provides not only housing and safety but also hope and stability for kids in some of their hardest moments.

I thought of you because [insert short reason – “you’ve mentioned wanting to get more involved in local giving,” / “your company has a strong heart for community,” etc.]. I’ll let you two take it from here, but I know you’ll enjoy connecting.

    Warmly,

    [Your Name]
  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
My heart for youth comes from my own lived experience growing up in an abusive home with an addicted father. From the very beginning, my husband and I poured our time into mentoring and supporting youth and families in crisis, first through an inner-city church and later by opening our own home to many young people in need—even before we were officially foster parents.

After moving to Texas, I became a mentor to an aged-out youth, which led us into fostering. Since then, we’ve fostered children and teens and most recently adopted our teenage son, who had been labeled “hard to place.” I knew if someone didn’t step in, he could easily have become another tragic statistic of the foster care system.

For me, this work is deeply personal—it’s not just a job, it’s my life’s mission. I want to be part of the generation that changes the statistics for teens in foster care, ensuring they don’t just survive but thrive.

  • Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
“Does your business, office, or small group ever look for ways to give back locally?”
(Opens the door for introducing Table of Grace as a partner for sponsorships or drives.)

“Have you or your team been looking for a meaningful way to support children and youth in need?”
(Helps people connect emotionally to the mission of foster care support.)

“Would you like to know about a nonprofit in Round Rock that provides emergency shelter and life-skills support for youth in foster care?”
  • Unique Selling Proposition
At Central Texas Table of Grace, we believe every child deserves more than just a roof over their head—they deserve safety, belonging, and the chance to dream again. Many of the youth who walk through our doors arrive with nothing but a trash bag and a broken sense of trust. We provide immediate care—warm meals, clean clothes, a safe bed—but we don’t stop there. We walk with them into their future, offering mentorship, life skills, and love that helps rewrite their story. Your support doesn’t just meet needs—it transforms lives. Together, we can change the statistics and give teens in foster care a future filled with hope.

  • About me
I have always had a heart for youth, shaped by my own experience growing up in an abusive household with an addicted father. My husband and I began by volunteering in an inner-city church, walking alongside youth and families in crisis. Over the years, we opened our home to many young people in need, long before we became official foster parents.

After moving to Texas, I mentored an aged-out foster youth whose baby entered care, which led us into fostering officially. Since then, we’ve fostered children and teens, and in 2023 we adopted our son, a 16-year-old I met through Central Texas Table of Grace. I knew he was considered “hard to place,” and I couldn’t stand by knowing he might become another tragic statistic.

This work is deeply personal to me—it is not just my career, but my calling. I am passionate about changing the way children and teens experience foster care and committed to being part of the movement that shifts the statistics for youth aging out of the system. My mission is simple: to create spaces where kids don’t just survive their difficult life circumstances, but thrive.
