  • Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
“I’d like to introduce you to Casey Stenehjem, our Business Development Manager at Glass & Mirror. Since 1984, Glass & Mirror has been providing high-quality residential and commercial glass solutions throughout Minneapolis/St. Paul and the surrounding metro.
Casey primarily focuses on the commercial side of our work, helping general contractors and project managers find reliable, professional glass partners for everything from frameless shower enclosures and glass railings to aluminum and glass storefronts, glass tabletops, shelving, and more. As Casey likes to say: “If you can see through it, we can do it.”
Feel free to connect with Casey directly—she’s always happy to stop by, introduce herself in person, and explore how we can support your upcoming projects.”
  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
At the core of everything I’ve done professionally is a deep commitment to relationships, education, and rising to a challenge.
While my background didn’t begin in construction, the common thread throughout my career has always been people. I started in Exercise Science and spent over 13 years as a personal trainer, where I learned how much I love teaching, motivating, and connecting with individuals one-on-one. That evolved into a regional sales role, supporting small gyms and sports centers—not just selling to them, but becoming a trusted partner and resource.
Later, I took on one of my most meaningful challenges: working for a bone marrow and stem cell donation organization to help save lives. I had the honor of walking donors through an emotional and high-stakes process, advocating for them and ensuring they felt informed and supported every step of the way.
Each step of my journey has reaffirmed how powerful trust and connection can be. And that’s what brought me into business development in construction. Even in a new industry, I know the foundation of success is relationships. My goal at Glass & Mirror isn’t just to win business, but to be a consistent, reliable, and human partner to the people and companies I work with.
That’s my why: building lasting, trusted relationships—no matter the setting.
  • Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
    1. “Is there anyone else on your team or in your network who could benefit from a reliable glass subcontractor?”
    2. “What do you value most in your trade partners, and how have we measured up?”
    3. “Do you have any upcoming projects or connections where you'd feel confident introducing us?”
  • Unique Selling Proposition
At Glass & Mirror, we combine over 40 years of craftsmanship with a relationship-first approach to commercial and residential glasswork. Our clients know us for our versatility—if you can see through it, we can do it—but what truly sets us apart is how we show up.
As the Business Development Manager, I bring a unique background built on trust, education, and advocacy. From personal training to regional sales to donor care in healthcare, I’ve always focused on understanding people and supporting their needs. That carries directly into construction, where I act not just as a rep, but as a responsive, engaged partner you can count on from bid to build-out.
We don’t just provide glass—we bring peace of mind, professionalism, and a human touch to every jobsite and conversation.
  • About me
I never really knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. And honestly, I still don’t. What I do know is that I’m driven by curiosity, challenge, and growth. My goal isn’t to arrive at some final version of myself, but to discover more about who I am and what I’m capable of, year after year.
That mindset has shaped my entire career and personal life. From 13+ years as a personal trainer to sales and donor advocacy roles, and now as a Business Development Manager in the construction industry. I’ve chased opportunities that pushed me out of my comfort zone and into new levels of growth. I thrive in roles that require strong relationships, deep listening, and a willingness to meet people where they are.
Outside of work, that same spirit shows up in my hobbies. I’m a full-on plant addict (with 60+ houseplants, a bee garden, and a thriving veggie/herb garden). I’m passionate about weightlifting and have competed in bodybuilding, CrossFit, and Highland Games (yes, the Scottish strongman stuff!). I’m even stepping back into the Highland Games this year.
I love reading—mostly non-fiction—but I’ve also set a personal goal to read all of Stephen King’s books. I’ve been in Toastmasters since 2020, which I joined out of a deep fear of public speaking. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but growth won and I’ve since served as Club President and now VP of Public Relations.
When I’m not chasing a challenge or learning something new, I’m soaking up the simple life: spending time with my partner, friends, family, and our two dogs. I believe in slowing down, being present, and finding joy in the everyday.
