I love seeing business leaders get measurable results through healthy, engaged teams. I often say that I am in the business of self-awareness. I help leaders discover their strengths and struggles, teams recognize and address their dysfunctions, and organizations understand and improve their cultures.
I grew up in Lexington, SC. After receiving my B.A. in English (with a professional communications focus) from Winthrop University, I moved back to Columbia and worked in the employee benefits sector for over a decade. I have a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Columbia International University. My wife, Lauren, is a teacher (and 2015-16 Teacher of the Year) in Lexington 4. We have two sons and a daughter: Ren (9), McClane (7), and Anna Claire (4). I serve on the elder board at our church, which my wife and I helped start 15 years ago.
We typically need buy-in from the person/people at the helm - the owner/CEO/executive team. Great referrals are business leaders who are looking for leadership development for themselves and/or their managers. These leaders are coachable and motivated to make changes to improve the culture and invest in their people to get the best out of their teams.
