I have always been drawn to people and relationships, it's just who I am. In my early stages of being a Leading I thought that was the basis of leadership and teams. And so for a few years I wasn't really a leader I was more like a mediocre manager.
It wasn't until I started observing really high performing teams that I realized Great Leadership was based on something other than just "soft skills". Over time I came to realize that "thing" was Trust.
High performing teams are underpinned by extreme levels of Trust.
I dedicated about 10 years to building out those capabilities building billions dollar relationships and global teams. Now I'm blessed to share those ideas of Trust with others.
