Unique Selling Proposition
We do not have a credit box. We genuinely look at each deal on its merits and embrace each deal's idiosyncrasies. We are privately owned, we have one branch and have been here for 50 years. We are truly a hometown bank and truly a commercial forward bank and we swing far above our weight class with our non-tradional funding solutions Being small and being flat means our clients have direct access to the underwriting team and bank leadership. All of this allows us to be nimble and get to the approval stage faster.
About me
Born and raised around Lake Minnetonka. Went to University for Screen Writing and Media Arts.. After graduating I moved to Seoul, South Korea where I lived and worked as a Language Instructor for just over 5 years. In 2014 I came back to Minnesota and started working as a switch board operator for US Bank Direct Lending and Treasury Management department filtering calls between the two as they came in. Less than a year later I moved on to the Small Business credit team where I got my first taste of a deal and started to really enjoy the pace and cadence at which the team moved. From there, I moved out of the call center and into the branch world where I oversaw the Minnetonka and the Hopkins branches and occasionally Wayzata. In 2018, after a chance conversation wiht the Financial Advisor who also covered Ridgedale and Wayata at the time, I pivoted into the Wealth Management arena. I procured the required licenses needed to work in the securities as a registered associate and I worked as the right hand man to the aforementioned advisor for the next 4 years (we are still very close; I just watched his dogs last week while he was out of town). In 2022, I felt the desire to hunt for deals again and be more proactive in my career and my compensation so I took a role at PNC as a Commercial Relationship Manager. PNC was new in town and so I was able to come on in a business development capacity despite not having nearly as much experience as my peers. Unfortunately, in October of 2023 I was laid off in a nationwide coverage reorg. 5 grueling months later, after researching smaller banks and the ad/disadvantages therein compared to larger national banks, I was introduced to Mike Heil at Scale Bank and I started as their sole Business Development Officer on March, 11th. Now, lets get to work!
