  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
    I'm a "helper" and I do what I do to help others' lives run smoother. I want to help people have more time and utilize that time to enjoy their lives by helping them declutter, organize, and stay organized! As I help my clients, we build strong relationships and this also fills my bucket. I'm a people person and being a professional organizer helps me as much as it helps my clients.
  • About me
    I grew up in Richfield, Minnesota with my parents and my older brother. We had a good upbringing with a lot of travel, activities, sports, and fun. We were the house that everyone wanted to come to for parties, sleepovers, or just dinner with my family. I was (and still am) always a helper to my friends and family. My mom called me the "saver" and told me that I always wanted to "save" my friends (many had home/life issues).

    After high school, I didn't know what I wanted to do so I moved around quite a bit by attending different colleges and living in a few different countries (Mexico and Costa Rica). I finally finished my undergrad at the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse with a BA in Spanish. I moved to Kansas City, MO to work for Sprint in 1999 as I wanted a position as a translator for Sprint. They had ONE working there at the time and weren't hiring anytime soon (I laugh at this because you pretty much have to speak another language to work there now). When that didn't work out, I headed back to MN and found the only job I could with my degree - teaching Spanish at a private school (they didn't require a teaching degree). I did that for one year and fell in love with teaching. I moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and enrolled at Xavier University to obtain my Master of Secondary Education and teaching certificate in 2 years. I got a teaching job in 2002 and that is where my teaching career began.
    In 2003, I got married, bought a house, and had a baby - yup all in one year. I continued teaching at the same school and raising my son by myself (got a divorce) until 2012 when I was finally allowed to move back home to Minnesota. I was happy to be home for sure! I worked in a few different inner-city schools as I continued teaching until the end of the 2019-2020 school year (Covid year). I left public education as the politics and craziness were not helping the kids or the teachers. In 2020, I decided to pursue my passion for organizing and helping others live better lives. I had been doing my organizing since I moved back in 2012 (on the side) and thought it would be a great time to change careers.

    I am currently running orgANNEizer, LLC and I love it! My son is going to graduate from college this May and I couldn't be happier for the man he is becoming.
    I LOVE to travel, spend time with friends and help others' businesses grow. I am, and always will be, the helper!
