What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
My why is anchored in my deep-seated belief that education is foundation to societal development. I believe the world of education is in a global crisis. Educators are leaving the field at an alarming rate. I'm an educational coach and consultant to work with school communities and districts that need support with new teachers, student engagement and positive school environment. I believe these components are cornerstones to empowering a school community to go from surviving to thriving. -
About me
Caribbean queen of 16 years, I was born on St. Croix, U.S.V.I and then moved to New York City, to complete high school and begin college. As a professional woman for almost 30 years, my personal and professional life was always in competition. As an educator the work is never done. I’ve worked and when I was finished, I worked some more. Needless to say, time with my family and friends was limited and sometimes non-existent. During this time my health suffered from inflammation, autoimmune flare ups and major weight fluctuations just to name a few. I put plans in place and got distracted a few times and then got back on track. I knew my body could not keep going on exhausted. I could not keep running my tank on empty. I knew that I wanted to be here on earth, serving, enjoying friends, and living my purpose. Most importantly, enjoying my best friend, my husband, our daughter and beautiful grandson.
My purpose and passion have and will always be CREATING GENERATIONAL IMPACT! -
