  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
    I’ve enjoyed my 40-year career as an entrepreneur and have made more than my fair share of sales and profits and now I find it exhilarating to be a part of a team that is mission focused on helping small business owners achieve their dreams. While I have enjoyed working with Fortune 10 firms as a vendor, I find the heartbeat of commerce resides with the individual who has risked it all for the American dream of building a legacy for his or her family.

    Teamwork is the key.

    I enjoy being a member of the largest team of consultants in the country with the same mission of helping stressed and overwhelmed business owners achieve their dreams. Delivering the return on investment needed to propel the owner to accomplish his or her goals and ambitions is what floats my boat today.

    Anyone in a sales role knows their primary job is to provide value to their customers; value that exceeds the price or fees for the service rendered. Early in my career, the firm I was working with was focused on “stuff” and delivering stuff to the customers.

    My focus was on service and what could we do with the “stuff” that delivered a return on the invested dollars. That focus on service and exceeding my clients’ expectations propelled me to millions in sales and profits on an annual basis across the country, when fax machines and beepers were the rage.

    I still am focused on providing a service that exceeds expectations and a SOLID ROI for my clientele.

    Using a medical analogy, our process starts by having a conversation with a Physician's Assistant (Me). Our initial business survey is done onsite. We need to understand all aspects of the business before knowing what is needed to achieve the owners’ goals. Otherwise, we would be performing malpractice at our client’s expense.

    Thus, a Senior Business Analyst (The MD) is brought in for a 2-day, in-depth review of the client's business, and then the appropriate next steps with the consulting team (The Surgeons) to develop the plan(s) to get the client where they want to get to with the business.

    No fee is collected upfront for the initial survey, and the consulting is done on a project-by-project basis with no retainer.
