  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
    Somewhere in the last 30 years, we've lost our patience as a culture. Our baby boomer and fundamentalist generations saved out of fear, and GenX saved because they wanted what their parents and grandparents had. We all suffer from recency bias and constantly hear how expensive it is to live these days. It has always been this way, and it will continue to be this way. Without focus and discipline, goals won't be reached. Having a comfortable lifestyle both now and later is possible. I truly want people to have a reality check and start gradually saving for their long-term goals. Some of them need an advisor and some don't, but I enjoy connecting with people on a personal level to help keep them focused and on the right path.

    I am originally from St. Charles, MO, and an alumna of the University of Missouri – Rolla. I moved to Denver in 2007 with my first career in petroleum engineering. In 2018, I made a career shift from corporate finance and engineering to become a financial advisor with Edward Jones. I maintain a branch office in Golden while my husband and I moved to the Pine Junction area in 2022 to be a part of a community away from the city. We have a total of four children, one grandchild and four dogs, and we spend our free time camping, fishing and hunting nearly year-round.

    These have positioned my branch to help those nearing retirement and those who are running a business. I take the uncertainty out of the planning.
