Unique Selling Proposition
Me: I don't "sell" you on anything. My thousand systems installed and 16 years of industry experience allow me to put an ideal system together for you.
Solar: This is the only thing you will buy that pays for itself. You are currently paying for energy anyway, you might as well get something out of it.
$1,000 for referrals when their system goes on line. I reduce my own commission for NIA members if they buy systems.

"Have you taken advantage of that 30% tax credit for solar yet?"
"Why haven't you gone solar yet?" (they say why) "That's interesting because I think Pete has a solution for that very thing." (Which I almost always do)
"Mind if I give Pete your number so he can ask you a few questions to see if you would be a good candidate for saving with solar?" (Giving them my number, statistically, is nearly worthless. Get me their number and I will for sure follow up.)
