About me
Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and a native of South Texas, I wanted to be the first in my family to go to college. My inspiration and drive was to set an example to my siblings and future kids of similar upbringing. I graduated with a BA in English from the University of Texas at Pan-American with honors and became an English high school teacher to help others achieve success. After a few years in education, I transitioned into the energy industry having a background in sales and customer service. I worked for a few energy companies' and held many positions as I progressed in my corporate career until gaining my independence and becoming an Energy Consultant for a commercial brokerage firm. -
