  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
I want to elevate a woman's first impression, forever. I believe in the value of women and how they make an impact. Through my image styling services, I've helped hundreds of women achieve increased confidence, credibility, and cash. I do this by equipping them with the tools they need to look and feel their best, without judgement or criticism. More than just the right clothes, my personal development, high-touch approach increases a woman’s self-worth and has a ripple effect in all areas of their lives. For example, one woman who came to me feeling insecure about her appearance was able to gain four new clients within 30 days. Another woman had the confidence to start dating again. I believe when we look good, we feel good and that is the value I love to create.
  • About me
I am married for 43 years to Bill and have two adult sons. One son is a dog person; one son is a cat person so that says it all! I am a Tennessee transplant from the West Coast. As an original beach girl, I have found the wonder and beauty in the lush greenery around me and the southern hospitality. I am an advocate of animal rescue, and mental wellness. Hmm, wonder if dogs help with mental wellness? I believe they do! I also love to travel and Pickleball and play as often as possible!
  • Profession

Business degree; previous co-owner of women's apparel boutique; previous owner tabletop design company for high-end clients; 22-years in cosmetic/skin care industry; previous exclusive stylist for a $7M business owner's MM attendees; recently styled a guest for The Today Show on NBC.

  • Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
My area of expertise can be a delicate subject to address. Here's how you can position my personal styling services in a way that's compelling and respectful.
First, It's best if you are listening for any frustrations or dissatisfaction a woman would have with her current image, (usually it's weight or clothing issues). Feelings about being overlooked, not projecting authority or credibility, maybe frustrated finding anything professional to wear. Listen for conversations about personal branding or professional development, interest in improving their professional image or personal style, or openness to exploring resources that can support their career goals.

Here are a few replies, (feel free to tweak them as appropriate):

#1 "I recently attended a networking event where the topic of personal branding came up, and it got me thinking about the importance of presenting ourselves authentically and professionally. There's a personal stylist I know who specializes in helping women enhance their professional image. I've heard great tips from her and if you're interested in connecting, I'm happy to do an email introduction"
#2 "I've been following this personal stylist who shares insightful tips on how to dress for success, and I thought you might find her services beneficial, especially considering we are in the public eye".
#3 (This can be used if someone is considering branding;) "there's a personal stylist I've heard great things about who specializes in helping professional women enhance their confidence and credibility through their style."
#4 "I recently learned about a personal styling service that's tailored specifically for professional women. They focus on empowering their clients to feel confident and polished in any setting."
#5 "I've heard about a personal stylist who specializes in helping women in leadership positions refine their professional image. It seems like a valuable resource for anyone looking to make a strong impression."

    In a corporate setting:
#1 Are you promoting employees from within your organization? Would you be open to a professional image consultant working with your staff? I believe she offers a group style workshop. It might be worth looking into.
#2 Does your company offer leadership training? I know a woman who trains staff and developing leaders to portray a professional presence. This has been shown to elevate your company's overall impression to prospects.

  • Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
Take a look at the sentences in the Qualifying Questions above.
Intro email to a person of influence/3rd party (head of company, HR, spouse, etc.).
Email can be tweaked to direct consumer. Think about what is important to them, perhaps concerns they have expressed and use those words in your email, (weight transition, feeling frumpy, not attracting ideal clients, a change in lifestyles, etc.)

As always, I am open to assisting you in crafting your email!

    Hello, XXX
