About me
Since 2014, I’ve been a licensed Acupuncturist through the Texas Medical Board, helping over 20,000 individuals improve their health naturally. My academic journey began at UH for undergrad, followed by graduate studies at ACAOM, a top Acupuncture school in Houston, and finally my PhD at the University of Sedona, with a certification in Functional Medicine. I have a broad scope of practice, treating over 80 conditions, with a particular focus on mood, digestive disorders, and pain management. What truly sets me apart is my holistic approach, which sees each individual as a whole, not just a collection of symptoms. This approach ensures that you receive comprehensive care that addresses not just the symptoms but also the root cause of your health issues. My diverse background and education further guarantee that you are in good hands. I've been a Texan since 1990, having grown up as an expat in several states and overseas, with most of my family in Colorado. I grew up in a sports- and athletic-oriented family, with runners and golfers. As a gymnast and yogi myself, . I understand the body from an athletic perspective, which helps me diagnose injuries more effectively and treat sports-related injuries. Before Health and Wellness, I was in the Finance and Insurance industries.
Travel, Music, writing, reading, yoga - as a former gymnast, I have a special affinity for the Olympics. I also enjoy outdoor adventures, such as hiking, climbing, rafting, and even rappelling. I have a new book coming out soon on Mind-Gut Health!
