I absolutely love helping busy business owners tell their stories and grow their businesses. I started my first business when I was a senior in college (jumped right off the cliff and built a parachute on the way down), so I can relate to the feeling of needing to "do it all" including tasks that create overwhelm. Writing website content, blogs, email sequences, landing pages, newsletters, social media content, marketing materials, etc. does not top most people's lists of "favorite work activities" and I get that. But I love writing. I love living in a creative space that allows me to utilize my talents while "working" and I love helping my clients reach their marketing and branding goals. Let me take your writing projects off your plate, and you can get back to crushing it.
My superpower is my ability as a copywriter to help my clients use carefully curated words to share their Voice+Mission+Brand with the world.
I utilize keywords and industry specific research to create SEO driven content that will leave your clients wondering only one thing:
Where do I sign up?
Like you, I am passionate about building something amazing, and I believe in you and your vision. Together, let's create content that drives more traffic to your site, effectively delivers your message to your ideal clients, and helps you spend a little more time crushing goals instead of keys on the keyboard trying to get into words what you're feeling in your heart and soul. Writing blogs and website content can be time-consuming when you're busy, so let me lift the burden.
"Yeah, but hold on Jess, no one understands my vision the way I do. I'm the voice of my company, and my clients look to me for expertise that only I can truly share..."
One of the most important things you need to know about me (other than the fact that I'm a copywriting wizard who still loves her high school sweetheart, dreams of the vegan wings at Plow Burger in ATX, can recall every word to *almost* every Spice Girls song at the drop of the hat, and has a serious addiction to iced oat milk lattes) is that I'm an actor and comedian.
Like an actual, working, people pay me to play pretend actor and comedian. Why does that matter?
Because I am a trained professional at adopting other people's voices.
My process is unique. I do not want you to tell me briefly what you do, research what other people are doing in your space, and create some regurgitated version of what every other expert in your field is sharing with their clients.
That's not my jam, friend.
Instead, I want to get to know you. Like really get to know you. Just like studying a character to portray on stage or on film, I will study your Brand+Vision+Voice+and most importantly, your Vibes.
Excellent SEO driven copy that helps you connect with your clients and then earn their business is important.
Cohesiveness and a clear voice is what keeps a brand and your business moving forward.

I'm pretty lucky because my profession and my hobbies? They're the same. I'm a writer, actor, and comedian. I love improv and sketch comedy, and you can catch me on stage at Fallout Theatre downtown on Lavaca regularly. I love spending time with my husband, and we are always on the go. We love going to events and shows as often as possible, and we love just being out and about. I have one fur baby, Miss Bee who is the actual boss at Price Is Write Copywriting, and I have to admit I'm a semi-neglectful plant mom. My Planta app has a robust graveyard. Doin my best to remember my own water. As every HomeGoods sign I've ever seen says, "I'm just living, laughing, and loving, ya'll!" Or something like that.
My perfect referral is a new business owner working to set up their own website, or a business owner who is overwhelmed by writing blogs and wants to take that task off their plate. Blogs are my favorite!

Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
Email, DM on social media, written letter (I love a good letter), or message tied to the leg of a trained carrier pigeon... doesn't matter and I trust you good folks to intro me as you see fit. I'll leave that bit of copy to you.
