  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
    I have been given a gift/a cure, and a gift or a cure is wasted if it is not shared. There is an overwhelming degree of confusion and misunderstanding that surrounds insurance and as a result too many people (Families, Businesses, Estates) unintentionally experience significant loss that was completely avoidable. My 30 plus years have not only given me experience in planning, but more importantly it has given me experience in people and a deep understanding of how different people communicate (i.e., digest and process information). Because of this acquired skill/gift/cure, it is my mission to make certain all I have the good fortune to be introduced to enjoy the benefit of "understanding". Only with understanding can one make the best decision for Themselves, Their Family, Business, and/or Legacy. My "why" is to be certain everyone I counsel is better for having met with me and they know they have made the best choice for themselves and all who are in their care.

    I play a number of different roles:
    - I'm a husband (married to Nancy) coming up on 35 years of marriage.
    - I'm a dad of three wonderful humans who are responsible contributing citizens to the world.
    - I'm a grandfather as of 2021.

    I like to stay active:
    - My exercise of choice is boxing. Had my first sanctioned fight in 2009. Buster Douglas (1st to defeat Mike Tyson) was one of the judges which made it very cool. I hung up my gloves in 2013 after breaking 3 ribs a week before my next fight in a training fight. However, I still hit the heavy bag today (it doesn't hit back. LOL).

    I like to do fun and fast things:
    - Raced a stock car and hit a top speed (for me) of 187mph. which was definitely a thrill.
    - Jumped out of a perfectly good airplane at 10,000 feet and had a soft landing. That was very cool and since I lived to tell the tale, it's checked as one and done!

    I like to write and perform music:
    - I've been playing guitar and writing songs for so many years that I should really be a lot better than I am! Oh well, keep on stumming.
    - Currently I am the business manager for one of my children who is a recording artist and experiencing the early stages of success. There's still room for growth!

    Overall, being me has been a lot of fun and I plan to keep it that way.
