I know how important it is for a business owner to have clear and concise information to help future planning, growth and decision making for a small business. I know I am in the right place, doing the right thing when I am able to give my clients the support they need.
About me
I started out as an elementary school teacher. At the same time my husband started his own business. After three months of business the person doing his bookkeeping had the entire file tied up in knots and I began my journey toward bookkeeping as I got the file straightened out and useful. I found my love for bookkeeping and went to school to take accounting and payroll classes to support the work I had taken on. At one point I was in a new school district the year they went on strike and the year the State cut the education budget. My kids were headed for college and I knew we needed something more secure. I began working as an independent bookkeeper contracting with bookkeeping firms and in 2010 I opened my own business. Since then I have been creating relationships with clients that support and educate for the success of their businesses.
I am a life long learner so reading is on my list of great things. In addition my husband and I hike, kayak, camping and pretty much anything we do outside. I love to sew, quilt and create. Community service is a big part of my heart and I look for opportunities to serve.
