  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
    I am passionate about what I do because I truly believe my cumulative life experiences have given me so much to teach and help others with:

    1- Having worked for and watched my father run a small business for nearly 30 years, I vowed to help others navigate the pitfalls of small business ownership which unfortunately took a toll on his bottom line for many years; I have successfully put into place plans and actions on behalf of others which have helped them avoid these same miscues.

    2- I come from a large family and network of friends, and have witnessed many experience hardships as a result of poor planning and mismanagement of household finances, savings and investment. I have utilized many of these experiences to better position my clients for a future which includes a successful retirement, not just and existence after they leave the world of work.

    It is through these life experiences that I proudly serve clients in the greater Woodlands area and surrounding cities who are in need of any number of the services and investments we offer: whether it be a small business, individual, couple or family, who are just starting their saving and investing careers, are on the verge of retirement or are enjoying retirement, I help create and execute strategies to organize, grow, protect and transfer hard-earned wealth. I do so using an established process which focuses on knowing what is most important to the client, establishing a lifelong relationship using our 5-step process, and partnering with clients over their lives to help keep them on track. As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it’s important to invest my time to understand what you’re working toward before you invest your money. It's also important to understand the level of risk you're comfortable accepting when investing so we can balance it with the steps necessary to reach your long-term goals.

  • About me
    I have over 34 years of combined experience and leadership in both business and education; 14 years in investment real estate finance and management and 20 years as a business educator, school administrator, coach and athletic director. I graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a BA in economics and political science and earned my MBA from Cal Poly Pomona. I have been an active investor for over 34 years, and am Series 7/66/SIE licensed in my current role as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones.
    I've made the decision to return to the world of finance following a 20-year career in business education, coaching and administration. While I thoroughly enjoyed educating young adults in the subjects of saving, investment and finance, I missed the investment arena, and in particular the opportunity to serve clients with their varied saving, investing and retirement planning needs. As my wife Traci and I forged plans for the next chapter of our careers, I chose Edward Jones because the firm truly embodies what I value: serving the needs of serious, long-term, like-minded savers and investors through personal relationships, from a branch office I call my own.
