I'm driven by helping people solve real problems and building a law practice that makes quality legal help more efficient and accessible. I love the work itself, whether it's unraveling a complex transaction or protecting someone's creative work, but I'm equally committed to finding ways to serve more people efficiently, whether that's through better systems, strategic pricing, or new delivery models. The traditional legal system is outdated, and I would love to help modernize it.
Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
1. Are you facing a legal issue that's holding up something important to you such as a business deal, creative project, or property transaction?
2. Do you need clarity on whether something is legally sound, or do you need help structuring and protecting it?
3. Are you working with other professionals on this, like a realtor, contractor, accountant, or manager, who you'd want coordinated with?
Unique Selling Proposition
I practice what I advise. As an investor, business owner, and performer myself, I understand these areas not just legally but operationally. Whether it's real estate transactions, business structure, entertainment deals, or IP protection, I bring both legal expertise and real-world experience.
About me
I focus my legal practice on business, real estate, entertainment, intellectual property, and certain litigation matters. Beyond the courtroom and office, I'm also the owner of and main producer at Skyline Records, an independent bluegrass label that's grown quickly.
I'm also an active bluegrass musician and producer, touring extensively across North America. I'm also involved on multiple non-profit music boards.
Outside of music and law, I'm an avid reader, hiker, and long-distance runner. Nashville's been a great place to do all of it.
